QUESTION and My RESPONSE...Would I hire someone without a Degree ?

Question From My Linkedin Group ... Would you hire someone without a degree ?...My answer...The short answer is ABSOLUTELY, If not I wouldn't have hired myself Lol... Knowledge is Power however, there is no law that states that Knowledge must come with a Degree or Certification. I Created a Wonderful Company "6K Systems, Inc"., as well as, Being on the Board of Directors and Board of Advisors, for various organizations . I aided an Amazing Group of young Artist and models in getting there foot in the door in the Entertainment industry "Get Tough Entertainment", and became a Philanthropist all before having a Degree. My Next Venture is going to be Phenomenal. So, I am a "Self Taught" very Successful Entrepreneur...Of course the question is also situational, I would have no problem with a " Self taught Musician" teaching me Music but I don't want a Self taught "Brain Surgeon" opening up my head Lol. Education is important and a life of continuous learning is Paramount for True Success in all areas of life. I am going back to school in the fall to increase my knowledge in a New field, I do not necessarily need the Degree but it would be nice to have. Having said all of that, I insist that ALL 7 of my children attend college. Two of my children have finished school one just wrapped up his first year. If they finish and earn a degree in the process that is icing on the cake, If they end up like Mary Kay Ash, Coco Chanel, Richard Branson,Simon Cowell, Michael Dell,Walt Disney, Barry Diller of Fox Broadcasting Co..Henry Ford, Frank Lloyd Wright and Milton Hershey...I think I can live with that...Opps Let's Not forget that College Dropout Bill Gates...and For the Record I'm not advocating not having a Degree...Just Saying success take many paths...

Thank you Lord, for waking me up this morning… I thank you that your goodness and mercy are new each Day… you are a good and loving God...Thank you for another chance to get it right… I thank you for the favor that abounds in my life… I thank you that your favor is opening doors of opportunity that NO MAN can shut... I use my favor to help others and in turn, you are causing people to go out of their way to help me; they are using their power, their ability and their influence to help me...I thank you that you have blessed me to be blessing to everyone I meet...I thank you that your favor is drawing people to me… I thank you that because I help to meet the needs of others my needs are always met… I thank you that because I give to others, you cause others give to me… Thank you that your word says the way I give out is the way I will receive back...
I thank you for not letting me get weary in well doing… I ask for and receive your forgiveness for yesterday mistakes offenses and transgressions… I let go of all offenses from others and I forgive those who have sinned against me, so that my prayers will be answered by you…
I thank you that you are transforming me daily by the renewing of my mind...Thank you for giving me mental clarity and laser beam focus to accomplish everything I set out to do today... I'm Not usually very political however, Watching the news of Libya is heart-wrenching. I used to live there as a little girl. I have so many fond memories of Tripoli. Wheelus AFB walking to the Mediterranean sea most days with my Parents and My uncle Chappie James. Watching fireworks on the beach, Laying outside, star gazing, traveling to Tunisia, Djerba & The Rock of Gibraltar...Wow... I hope this ends soon & God Bless the people seeking their freedom.

MORE Empowerment Ladies ...First of all "Don't get it Twisted " We are not defined by wealth... But how much GOOD do you want to do in this WORLD ??? How many lives could you change if you were Wealthy... How much more could you help yourself, Friends, Family, House of Worship, Community and the World in general if you had more money. How many times have you wished you could do more for someone struggling. THAT IS the Point of WEALTH and yes there are many ways to be wealthy in other ways than just financial wealth (health, spirit, etc) but right now I'm talking about "MONEY" so I do MEAN MATERIAL, FINANCIAL WEALTH not just the Attainment of Things. Although things are great and they have their place, I love having lots of stuff...especially shoes... And I love to have fun and go out etc... But that's not "WEALTH's True Purpose " hmmm sound like a book title to me...

THE True Reason for WEALTH is that you are "Blessed to BE a Blessing to others" period end of Story. DO you REALLY believe that a Drug Dealer, hooker, or Pimp should have more money than you ? Just take 2 seconds to think about that. Whether you believe in GOD or the Universe or whatever you believe (Personally, I believe that GOD created the Universe so, HE IS the Universe and since I'm one with HIM... I'm one with the Universe, but that's another topic)... BUT Do you really think GOD's and /or UNIVERSAL Law would be that money is here to perpetuate negative people or to lift up and empower people... It's not that Complicated the problem is PEOPLE and Not GOD but Religion... " the BIBLE says "MONEY answereth ALL things" Ecclesiastes 10:19 and "That Wealth and Riches are to be in the house of the believer" Psalm 113... "The Blessings of the LORD make me Rich and HE adds no sorrow" Proverbs 10:22 I am sure just about every religion and Philosophy has their own version of these statements... It is people's wrong mindset and motives that cause money problems, NOT Money...

There is a Statement that says "Money only magnifies who you already are". If you are selfish, Greedy and Tyrannical with a Little money then when you will just be more selfish, Tyrannical, and greedier with Money...If you are a Generous, Giving, Compassionate person with Little money, then those positive qualities will be magnified as well. I have seen this with two individuals just in the past week. One person's entire self worth, values and identity is tied to his money. Sadly, He believes that it gives him the right to run rough shod over people and to an extent it does: but this kind of power is fleeting because it is backed by purely selfish and wrong motives. On the other hand I have seen a person already struggling, give there last to help someone else and seen Amazing things happen in their life, in one week... Don't get me wrong there maybe times that we all struggle, I'm sure even Oprah and Bill Gates with all their money wish they had more to do more... Whether you like them or not they have learned the "Secret of MONEY"...Because their Primary motive is for a benefit outside of themselves... "Give and it shall be given to you good measure, pressed down, shaken together and running over" .

So Think about this how can you change the world without Money, simple you can't. How can you save lives in Africa or feed starving people and aid the sick around the world if you can't even afford a plane ticket go there. DUH !! Money is not EVIL it's "The LOVE of Money that is Evil" and Truth Be told most people that LOVE and Worship Money don't have it...If you see that you have an unhealthy relationship with money . STOP Over Complicating Money, NOW , Know its power and its purpose act accordingly start right now by changing your mindset..Choose to be wealthy, for yourself, your loved ones and ultimately to Make a Difference in this World..."

Simply stated I've been poor and I've been rich and RICH is Better...Get there !!!
